Strolling through the Antique Market

One of my favorite places to find unique things for the home is the Antique Market on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. I love mindlessly wandering around, stepping back in time, and exploring what were often someone else's treasures. Even the kids love to explore, finding old treasure boxes, books and maps. I also love the idea of repurposing the old into something new. The Antique Market is also my go to place for finding storage for organizing my clients. A vintage crate to store books in is certainly more interesting and environmentally-sound then a plastic crate from the big box store.
Great ideas from the booths in the market....
love this vintage table with updated fabric on the chairs
nothing like a canister set for storing flour, sugar, coffee, and tea
perfect baskets for organizing
an old gate up-cycled into a magazine rack
Some of the treasures I couldn't resist & had to bring home.....
for $25.00 I got this great light for over my kitchen table
towel rack and shelf for over the tub
jars to store handmade soaps and bath salts
bedside water decanter, perfect for guests or the princess of the house

cubbies for tropheys
vintage medicine cabinet with fresh coat of paint
old sign, just for fun!
