Boone Hall Plantation

When walking the grounds of the gorgeous Boone Hall Plantationone really can step back in time and experience all of the history this Charleston local treasure has to offer. One of the oldest working plantations in America today, Boone Hall is still producing crops over 300 years later. The trees that line the entrance to the plantation were planted over two centuries ago and as you walk along the driveway, the sounds of horses trotting along, pulling carriages of ladies and gents dressed in their finest attire, fill your ears. Below are some pictures from our recent visit to the plantation. Located off highway 17 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, it is definitely worth the drive!
