One of our favorite things to do in Charleston is visit the Farmer's Market. It is a mecca for discovering what is happening locally in terms of art, music, and of course food. The market opens at 8 a.m. on Saturday and runs till 2 p.m. in the spacious Marion Square on the corner of King and Calhoun Street. If you want to get the best grub (Celeste's eggs) it is advised that you arrive early. We like to sneak out of the house before the troops rise and head downtown for a lovely morning of donuts, coffee, and lots of veggies. Here are some pictures from our latest trip to the market. Stay tuned, because we will be premiering many of the wonderful vendors here!
