Hidden Treasures

If you have children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews, I am sure that you have loads of precious art to be treasured and saved forever and always! Instead of hiding it in a box or drawer, shouldn't your most prized possessions be displayed for all the world to see?

A couple of years ago, I purchased a couple of over-sized Martha Stewart scrapbooks to place all of my children's drawings, cards to me, and school work in. Of course, you need to have a place to put these gigantic books, otherwise the normal sized scrapbook will do. Once you organize their work by years, special scrapbook glue and a box of tissue is all you will need to complete this project.

In addition to scrapbooks, I display my most treasured pottery pieces from the kids in my china cabinet. Who says china cabinets have to just be for china and crystal? Your youngsters will know just how much you treasure their hard work!

I have also had a few of my children's work professionally framed or just framed myself.

My son drew this picture of me when he was in Kindergarten!
A picture of my husband. He has never had black hair or red skin, but he does have glasses!

From drawings to pottery, find a spot or purpose for those special pieces of art given to you by your child. As they grow older, they never get tired of looking at their creative works. Plus, having these treasures in eye's view, will brighten each and every day!
